Hybrid Solar + Storage + Generator System Delivered for Mining Camp
A complete hybrid power package combining PV, containerized BESS and silent diesel gensets was engineered and commissioned for a remote mining camp — cutting fuel use while keeping 24/7 power available.
Remote mining operations often rely entirely on diesel generation. Fuel logistics, cost volatility and maintenance downtime make pure diesel power expensive and operationally fragile.
CASDE designed a hybrid architecture that prioritizes solar generation and battery storage during daylight and shoulder periods, starting diesel gensets only when load or state-of-charge requires it.
System Scope
The package included PV interface coordination, containerized LFP battery energy storage, silent canopy diesel generators, LV distribution and a hybrid energy management system (EMS).- Containerized BESS for peak shaving and night shoulder support
- Silent diesel gensets with automatic start / stop logic
- EMS modes for fuel saving, backup and black-start readiness
- Export packing and remote commissioning guidance
